We extend our heartfelt thanks to John Humphries, who retired at the end of July, concluding an exceptional career spanning 56 years with Crown House Technologies. John first joined the business as a 15-year-old apprentice in 1969, going on to play a pivotal role in many of our iconic projects, including Leadenhall, Guy’s Hospital, Baker Street, and Olympia.

His expertise, craftsmanship, and unwavering dedication have made a significant impact on both the success of our organisation and the projects he delivered.

John’s legacy continues through his grandson James, who is currently following in his footsteps as a CHt apprentice. This continuation of a family connection highlights the enduring values of our organisation, ensuring John’s influence will carry forward into the next generation.

We are deeply grateful for John’s remarkable service and achievements over the decades. As he begins his well-deserved retirement, we wish him happiness and fulfilment in the years ahead, while looking forward to supporting James as progresses through his apprenticeship programme.
